SECTIONS OF ROADS IN ROSTRAVER AND LIGONIER TOWNSHIP CLOSED

Sections of some roads in Rostraver and in Ligonier Township will be closed starting today for PennDOT road and bridge projects. The Trib reports that a portion of Route 259 between Austraw Road and McCurdy Trail in Ligonier Township as crews work on replacing a cross pipe over a tributary to Coal Pit Run. The work is expected to continue through late May, depending on weather conditions. Meanwhile, Lenity School Road will close between Patton and Iron City Hill Roads for the demolition of a bridge over Speers Run and replacing it with a pre-cast concrete pipe and inlet.
