PRESIDENT BIDEN MAKES PROMISE TO LOCAL STEELWORKERS

President Joe Biden visited Pittsburgh yesterday with a promise for local steelworkers. In remarks delivered at the United Steelworkers headquarters downtown, the president said that U.S. Steel has been an iconic American company for more than a century and that it should remain a totally American company. Biden says he promises that is going to happen. Biden has previously voiced his opposition to a planned merger between U.S. Steel and Nippon Steel of Japan.
