VANDERGRIFT WOMAN ORDERED TO SERVE FIVE YEARS PROBATION

A Vandegrift woman was ordered to serve five years of probation for her part in the theft of over $30,000 from a roommate over a two-year period. The Trib reports that 56-year-old Rebecca Lynn Hubert pleaded guilty to theft and receiving stolen property for using her roommate’s debit card multiple times between 2020 to 2022 and used the man’s bank information to open four accounts on Amazon. The plea deal will allow her to pay the victim back over $34,000 in restitution.
