SUV CRASHES INTO WESTMORELAND CITY POST OFFICE

The Westmoreland City post office in North Huntingdon Township is closed until further notice due to an SUV crashing into it on Monday. The Trib reports that the crash happened just before 9 AM at the building on Walnut Street. North Huntingdon Police did not release any information on the crash, but postal officials say that the SUV went through a load-bearing wall that faced a parking lot. No injuries were reported. The building is condemned until repairs can be made, so postal customers can pick up their mail at the Manor Post office on Atlantic Avenue.
