SEWICKLEY WOMAN CONVICTED OF VEHICULAR HOMICIDE

A Sewickley woman was convicted of vehicular homicide and 16 other crimes connected with a fatal head-on crash in March of 2022. The Trib reports that 44-year-old Ahna Malik now faces up to 48 years in prison for her role in the head-on crash on Arona Road that killed Dawn Coyne of Madison. Prosecutors said that Malik was under the influence of drugs when she veered across the center line and collided head-on with Coyne. A sentencing hearing will be held in three months.
