NORTH HUNTINGDON MAN CHARGED WITH RAPE

A North Huntingdon man was charged with rape. The Trib reports that 47-year–old Shon Harrity was arrested on Wednesday. He is accused of sexually assaulting a girl over a two year span. Court documents said the allegations were reported to investigators this week by a family member of the accuser. He was being held at the Westmoreland County Prison on $250,000 bail. A preliminary hearing is set for May 17.
