Pennsylvania will receive more than a quarter of a million dollars as part of a settlement from cell phone companies. Prosecutors say they used deceptive claims of “free” phones and “unlimited” plans in their marketing campaigns and didn’t disclose attached fees and agreements. The settlement involves the AT&T, Verizon, Cricket and T-Mobile carriers. Attorney General Michelle Henry says the ten-point-25-million-dollars of the settlement is being distributed across 50 jurisdictions.
