The Westmoreland City Post Office reopened yesterday, nine days after an SUV plowed into one of the walls of the building. The Trib reports that postal customers were asked to use the post office in Manor after the crash on May 6th. The crash left behind a gaping hole that exposed insulation and wood framing with bricks littering the floor. A postal service spokesman did not say if repairs to the wall had been completed. The building was temporarily condemned May 6 until it could be made structurally safe through repairs.
