PITTSBURGH RIVER HOUNDS ANNOUNCE PLANS FOR NEW SPORTS COMPLEX IN WESTMORELAND COUNTY

The Pittsburgh Riverhounds Soccer Club is announcing plans for a new sports complex in Westmoreland County. The facility is going on a 42-acre property on Public Works Drive, off of Route 30 on the west side of North Huntingdon Township. Renderings show three outdoor fields plus a 93-thousand-square-foot indoor space set up for multiple sports. The proposal still has to go through the township approval process, but local officials are expecting to get a lease agreement sometime within the next six months.
