State police have charged a Blairsville man with strangling a woman in Derry Township last year.
Troopers say 39-year-old Brian Allen Graham allegedly punched a woman in the face and choked her during an argument on November 25th at a property on Murtha Way. After the first attack, the woman armed herself with a knife and defended herself during the second attack. Graham sustained lacerations to his arm and abdomen.
Graham is now in Westmoreland County Prison in lieu of $50,000 bond, and faces a preliminary hearing February 19th.
