A Hempfield man will seek a Republican nomination for county commissioner.
The Tribune-Review reports that 57-year-old Paul Kosko announced on Friday his intent to run for a county commissioner seat. He currently oversees the computer systems for the Municipal Authority of Westmoreland County. His platform includes focusing efforts to get federal money for various projects to improve roads, sewers and water systems.
Two Republicans and two Democrats will be nominated in the May election to go to the general election in November, with the top three vote-getters named commissioners.
