An Arnold woman is now facing charges of assault and child endangerment after officials say she beat her six-year-old autistic son.
KDKA-TV Reports that 27-year-old Elena Lovorn was charged by Arnold police over the incident, which happened at their home on Fifth Avenue. Court documents showed someone who was home at the time saw Lovorn take her son to the bathroom after he soiled his pants and heard screaming from upstairs. When Lovorn opened the door, the child’s lip was bleeding, he had a black eye, and there were cuts and bruises on his neck. After taking photos for evidence, the visitor called police.
Lovorn is in jail on $100,000 bond, with a hearing set for next week.
