Greensburg police are getting ready to sell four long guns that were seized in a criminal case years ago. The Trib reports that city council approved selling the guns to Hufftown Highpower in South Greensburg for $1,660. Chief Charles Irwin said the guns were to be used for training, but they have just sat in the gun lockup, unused, for many years. The city didn’t have to seek bids for the sale because the amount falls below the state’s threshold.
