A woman from Fayette County was flown to the hospital after she was involved in a crash with a PennDOT truck in Ligonier Township.
WTAE-TV Reports that Laura Estochin had just left a car dealership on Route 30 when she was hit by the truck at the intersection of 30 and Route 259 on Wednesday. Estochin was taken to the hospital for treatment of injuries. Her mother had minor injuries in the crash. The PennDOT driver was not hurt, but he claims that he could not see the SUV.
Ligonier Township Police believe that the PennDOT driver may be at fault. That driver is undergoing standard drug and alcohol testing while State Police continue to investigate.
