Legal proceedings will begin today to have Cassandra Gross declared legally dead.
WTAE-TV reports that today’s hearing will focus on the evidence of Gross’ absence and its circumstance and duration so that the estate can be distributed.
Gross has been missing since last April. Her ex-boyfriend Thomas Stanko was named a person of interest in the case, and he is currently in prison on unrelated charges.
