At a meeting of the Norwin School Board, board members approved making early retirement offers to their superintendent and one of the assistant superintendents.
The Tribune-Review reports that Superintendent William Kerr will receive incentives around $57,000 and assistant superintendent Timothy Kotch Sr. will receive incentives around $77,000 to take their retirements one year early.
Kerr announced that he would take the early retirement, saying he would retire in June of this year, one year ahead of his contract, pending approval of an early retirement deal.
Norwin has also started to advertise for a new superintendent.
