A structural engineer is being brought in to assess the damage done to a Derry Township home that was run into by a pickup truck on Monday.
The Tribune-Review reports that the home of Jesse Noel on Ligonier Street was where a pickup truck on Monday crashed after veering off the road. State Police have cited 30-year-old Allen W. Stayduhar of Whitney with driving the truck on a suspended license.
The truck has remained in the house, as there is a fear that the house will cave in if the truck is moved. Jesse Noel, who was in the house at the time, had minor injuries. His wife Sandy was not hurt.
