Today is the federal observance of Veterans’ Day.
It comes on a Monday this year due to the fact that the 11th falls on a Sunday. As such, there are several closures in effect today. All federal, state and local government offices are closed for the day. This includes PennDOT offices, but state liquor stores will be open if they would normally be open on Monday.
All post offices are closed, and there will be no mail delivery. Several banks are also closed today.
