The partial government shutdown has entered its second month and now those who have SNAP benefits are worried about if their next round of benefits will come or not.
The February benefits have already been allocated for many people who use SNAP. The next round of benefits won’t be issued until March, if they are released at all. The Department of Human Services is waiting on information from the USDA on plans for March benefits if the shutdown continues.
