
A couple from Jeannette pleaded guilty on Friday to charges related to an armed robbery that happened in North Huntingdon two years ago.
The Tribune-Review reports that Romel Crosby and Brittany Kruel admitted to their part in the robbery-shooting of 32-year-old Ronald Hines Jr. of Penn Township in an alley in the Westmoreland City area. Police say he was beaten, shot in the chest, and robbed of $240 in cash and a cell phone. Hines survived the incident.
Crosby was sentenced to five to 10 years in prison by Westmoreland County Judge Meghan Billik-Defazio, while Kruel was sentenced to three to six years in prison.
