A New Kensington man was sentenced to up to 50 years in jail on child pornography charges.
The Tribune-Review reports that 37-year-old Joshua Pottle was sentenced yesterday to the mandatory minimum sentence by Judge Rita Hathaway. Pottle will also be barred from having any unsupervised contact with children and once he is released, he is barred from accessing the internet. He must also register as a sex offender for the rest of his life once he leaves prison on parole.
Pottle was convicted on 40 felony counts related to child pornography after police found more than 20,000 images of child pornography on his computer along with videos as part of a statewide child pornography investigation in 2015.
