A Hostetter man was ordered to serve time in Westmoreland County Jail for corruption of minors, furnishing alcohol to minors and other crimes. The Trib reports that Glenn D. Jones, Jr. was ordered to serve 11-and-a-half to 23 months for the charges that he was found guilty of in August. He was acquitted of the more serious charges, including rape, statutory sexual assault, strangulation, indecent exposure and others. The incidents date back to May of 2020. While Jones asked for a house arrest sentence, Judge Timothy Krieger said that he was ordering him to jail time due to his prior criminal record.
