A family with roots in Export has created a trust to help fund a new borough building. The Trib reports that Brian Orlic and his uncle formed the trust fund for a new municipal center that could house some of the borough’s offices for the tax collector, mayor and others along with being the site of future council meetings. Borough Solicitor Wes Long, a member of the trust’s governing board, said the building could go up on borough-owned property near the public works garage on Community Park Road. The project is still in the early planning phases, but it will be brought to council soon.
