Jeannette City School District administrators and teachers will consider changes to a proposed policy that would require cell phones and similar devices be stored in classrooms. The Trib reports the original policy on Monday received a 4-2 vote but needed five votes for the policy to pass. Two members of the board were absent during the meeting and one person abstained. Superintendent Matt Jones said Tuesday the committee plans to meet over the summer to iron out some details with the proposal, and it could be revisited in the future.
