A Greensburg man and his son were arrested on Tuesday as part of an investigation into child pornography possession.
The Tribune-Review reports that agents with the Attorney General’s office charged 20-year-old Joshua Bittner of contacting young girls through Instagram and asking them to send nude photographs. Investigators found at least 14 child pornography images on a flash drive and a cell phone in his bedroom.
During that investigation, Joshua’s father, 50-year-old Mark Bittner, allegedly fought with agents, injuring one of them. Bittner was with some of the agents on the front porch and started to fight with them when they searched him for a weapon.
Both men are in Westmoreland County Jail on $50,000 bail and a preliminary hearing is set for February 7th.
