JEANNETTE SCHOOL BOARD APPROVES 2025-26 BUDGET

Jeannette School Board approved the 2025-26 budget Tuesday night with a 1.1% increase in taxes.  The Trib reports that the board voted 5-3 last night to increase taxes by 1 mill to 90 mills.  The budget passed eight days after the same tax increase failed to get enough votes to pass.  The tax increase will generate about $46,800 in revenue to go toward the $24.46 million budget.
