Officials in Derry Borough are planning to discuss lifeguard shortages at their community pool. Councilman Nathan Bundy says they have only six lifeguards on staff and have had to alter hours for safety reasons. The lack of lifeguards means the pool may have to be shut down for the season, according to Bundy. The council plans to go over the issue during their meeting on July first.
