MONESSEN COUPLE ARRESTED ON ANIMAL CRUELTY CHARGES

Police arrested a Monessen man and woman on charges of animal cruelty.  The Trib reports that police received over 50 videos of Douglas White and Mackenzie Orndoff from their neighbor that showed White kicking, choking and aggressively grabbing several dogs by the neck and throwing them down the steps, dragging them around the yard, and throwing them to the ground between December of 2024 and June of 2025.  Orndoff is seen in several of the videos, police said. She is never shown abusing any of the three living dogs found at the house, but it also showed she did not try to stop the abuse.  Two dogs were also found dead in the yard.  Other dogs in their care were taken to All but Furgotten for evaluation.  Orndoff and White will face a July 11 preliminary hearing.
