DERRY SCHOOL BOARD APPOINTS NEW MEMBER

The Derry School Board has appointed Alysia Longwell to fill a vacancy on the board.  The Trib reports that on Monday, the board unanimously approved her to fill the seat vacated by Kevin Liberoni, who stepped down June 3rd.  She will serve until the board reorganization meeting in December.  Voters will decide in November who will fill the other two years of Liberoni’s term.
