Two people were sentenced this week to serve time in state prison after a 2022 search in Upper Burrell turned up a gun, drugs and other evidence. The Trib reports that 35-year-old Brittany Robinson, formerly of Upper Burrell, was ordered to serve five to 10 years in prison while 45-year-old Djuan Williams of New Kensington will serve six to 12 years in prison. Both were convicted during an April trial of drug and weapons violations connected with an April 2022 raid that was set up after an informant scheduled a drug buy, according to court records. The two were given credit for time served.
