LOCAL FIREWORKS TO CELEBRATE INDEPENDENCE DAY

Independence Day weekend is about here, and there will be fireworks in one local community tonight.  KDKA-TV reports that Mt. Pleasant will have fireworks tonight as part of the community’s Party in the Park at the town gazebo.  The festival begins at 5:00 today, with fireworks after dark.  Also starting today is the Latrobe 4th of July celebration with a block party in Downtown Latrobe from 5-9 in the area of Ligonier Street between Main Street and Minehan avenue.  The celebration continues tomorrow at Legion Keener Park, with fireworks scheduled to start at 9:30 PM.
