WESTMORELAND COUNTY DIVERSITY COALITION CLOSES

The Westmoreland County Diversity Coalition closed last month after serving the county for 10 years.  The Trib reports the closure came on the heels of the founder’s retirement and a changing landscape for diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives.  Carlotta Paige founded the nonprofit in 2015 and served as its chief operating officer.  The coalition hosted several speakers, roundtable discussions with college students, a workplace diversity conference and other events.
