SIGNIFICANT MILESTONE REACHED IN ARNOLD PALMER REGIONAL AIRPORT EXPANSION PROJECT

A significant milestone has been reached in the Arnold Palmer Regional Airport expansion project.  The Trib reports that the final steel beam was put in place yesterday.  Crews were making up time after delivery of the steel beams was delayed by about 3 months.  Completion of the first phase, which includes the completion of the shell of the two-story 32,000 square-foot addition and relocation of a security checkpoint, is scheduled for April of next year.
