Arnold police department has a familiar face as its officer in charge. The Trib reports that on Tuesday, Mayor Shannon Santucci appointed Robert Haus as the OIC. He has been with the department for 8 and a half years, and was the city’s interim police chief for a month between the retirement of Chief Eric Doutt and the hiring of Josh Stanga. Stanga was placed on administrative leave last August as he faces charges of theft, obstruction of justice and other crimes in connection with what state investigators called a sting operation to check the chief’s integrity.
