A Fairfield woman and her parents will head to trial on more than 230 counts related to animal cruelty.
The Tribune-Review reports that 54-year-old Alexsandria Klochak and her parents, 72-year-old Yvonne and 75-year-old Richard, each face charges in incidents that stemmed from a raid performed by humane officers in March at a home where they found 67 cats, 30 dogs, a deer and a turtle living in what officials called “deplorable conditions.” Alexsandria’s parents did not appear in court due to health issues according to attorneys.
The trial is set to begin in April.
