Several different cases of sexual assault against a suspended Mt. Pleasant Borough police officer will be tried together in Westmoreland County.
The Tribune-Review reports that Judge Christopher Feliciani reaffirmed a ruling he issued in 2017 that consolidated six cases against 46-year-old John Andrew Brown of Mt. Lebanon. Brown faces charges that he sexually assaulted six different women in Westmoreland, Allegheny, Beaver and Erie Counties.
Brown’s attorney said they will file an appeal, saying Westmoreland County is not an appropriate venue.
