The former office manager of a Greensburg doctor is among five people who are facing federal charges of illegal distribution of Suboxone and money laundering.
The Tribune-Review reports that 27-year-old Sabrina Thomas of Fairbank, the former office manager for Dr. Nabil Jabbour, along with Rhonda Anthony, Jacqueline Keys and Adam Fincik of West Newton and Rebecca Carwithen of Monessen, are charged with illegal acquisition of a controlled substance, corrupt organizations, forgery and identity theft.
The four Westmoreland County residents allowed Thomas to use their identities to obtain the illegal drugs via forged prescriptions. Jabbour would later tell investigators that he did not authorize the prescriptions.
The five are free on $10,000 unsecured bond each.
