State Police are investigating the theft of more than $500,000 worth of crypto-currency from the online account of a New Stanton man.
The Tribune-Review reports that the victim, identified as a 54-year-old man, said the money could have disappeared anytime between December and this past week. Trooper Steven Limani with the State Police said he couldn’t name what type of crypto-currency was stolen.
State Police computer science experts are working on tracing the movement of the crypto-currency.
