
There were several backups on I-70 last night due to two separate incidents, one in Hempfield and the other in New Stanton.
The first incident was a crash in the Hempfield area. The Tribune-Review reports that a tractor trailer on I-70 had lost its load around 5:30 PM and two other vehicles hit the debris from the crash. That portion of road was closed for a little over an hour. There were no reported injuries.
The other incident was a disabled delivery truck on I-70 west near New Stanton around 7:00 PM. Officials originally reported it as a crash, but first responders said there was no evidence of one. There were no reported injuries.
