The Roman Catholic Diocese of Greensburg has set up their compensation fund for victims of clergy sexual abuse.
The Tribune-Review reports that applications for the compensation fund will be accepted through May 28th. Greensburg Bishop Edward Malesic announced that those who were sexually abused by a priest, deacon or seminarian of the diocese when they were under the age of 18, or by a priest or deacon from another diocese or religious order who had faculties and was in active ministry within the diocese at the time of abuse are eligible to apply, provided they identified themselves to the diocese as a victim prior to Tuesday, February 26th.
No word yet on how much money will be in the fund, but a full disclosure of the expenses will be released after everything with the process ends. You can log on to dioceseofgreensburg.org for more information.
