
State Police have charged two men with robbing a South Huntingdon convenience store of more than $33,000.
Police say that 26-year-old Curtis Everett, who lists his address as the Westmoreland County Prison , and 26-year-old Dylan J. Kurucz of Glassport were arraigned earlier this week on charges of robbery, theft, and receiving stolen property for their part in the robbery of the Sunoco service station on Mt. Pleasant Road. Everett is also accused of threatening the clerk with a gun. The two demanded that a clerk in the store open the safe, and they got away with $18,000 in cash and $15,000 in checks.
The two were ordered held in county jail in lieu of $50,000 bond. A preliminary hearing is set for March 8th.
