A Ligonier Township Supervisor is now facing charges of theft and receiving stolen property.
The Tribune-Review reports that 57-year-old Wade Thomas is charged with the theft that allegedly happened sometime in January. The theft was reported on January 13th, but police say that Thomas admitted to them that he took the gun from the victim’s truck, but later returned it by putting it on the victim’s back porch on January 25th.
A preliminary hearing will be held on March 13th.
