One of the anchor stores at the Westmoreland Mall is now in its final days of operations.
The Tribune-Review reports that Sears will close for good on St. Patrick’s Day. The company behind the long-time department store filed for bankruptcy protection last October and it was announced in December that the Westmoreland Mall Sears along with 79 other Kmart and Sears stores would close in 2019.
The closing means the end of Sears being in the Westmoreland County area for the last 90 years.
