A 26-year-old man from Vandergrift is charged with involuntary manslaughter for a September 17th death of his infant son.
WTAE-TV reports that Owen Copney is also facing charges of child endangerment in the death last year of his month-old son, Isiah. Copney allegedly fell asleep with his son face down on his chest, and when he woke up, the child was face down in the crook of his arm and not breathing. The child was taken to the hospital but he died there two days later.
A lawyer for Copney has denied comment.
