The Democratic Party has picked their nominee to take over for a state senator who retired at the end of February.
The party has chosen IUP Professor Susan Boser for a special election that will be held on the night of Pennsylvania’s primary election. This will be for the district of State Senator Don White, which has all of Indiana and Armstrong Counties, and portions of Westmoreland and Butler counties.
Boser was elected by the Democratic Party over Indiana County restaurateur Tony DeLoretto. The Republican Party is expected to announce their nominee soon.
