An Irwin man who used to work for an electrical parts manufacturing plant and is accused of hiding a camera in a women’s restroom faces new obscenity complaints.
The Tribune-Review reports that 32-year-old Nicholas R. Trail was arraigned today before District Judge Wayne Gongaware on charges of burglary, invasion of privacy, possession of obscene material, harassment and stalking in connection with an investigation at the Cleveland/Price plant on Route 993. Home computers confiscated in January showed that Trail had downloaded images of three of his female co-workers using the bathroom at the plant. He admitted to putting the camera in place with the intent to watch the videos later on.
Trail was ordered held in Westmoreland County Prison on Wednesday after failing to post $30,000 bail. His preliminary hearing is set for May 28th.
