This month is expected to be record-breaking for the Arnold Palmer Regional Airport.
The airport is expected to welcome its two millionth Spirit Airlines passenger this month. Spirit has been the sole provider of commercial flight service at the airport since 2011. As of the end of February, 1,989,799 passengers have passed through the gate, and with monthly passenger averages around 20,000 this year, the airport is confident the two millionth passenger will come by the end of March.
