The Latrobe-GLSD Parks and Recreation Commission has announced the date for the annual Fred Rogers Family Day.
The commission announced that they will have their annual Fred Rogers Family Day on Saturday, June 8th. Activities in past years have included appearances by characters from the series “Daniel Tiger’s Neigborhood,” which was inspired by the characters Rogers created for his show, musical performances, and kids groups with shows and demonstrations. Latrobe-GLSD and Fred Rogers-based merchandise will also be on sale.
No word yet on what the activities will be for this year’s day.
