As we’ve noted, gas prices across the state have been on the rise.
Triple-A reports that refinery maintenance season, the switch to the more expensive to produce summer blend of gas, higher crude oil prices and growing demand are all contributing to the latest jump in pump prices.
Triple-A says the average price for a gallon of regular gas in PA is up seven cents in the last week and 18 cents in the last month with another 10 to 15 cent increase possible before prices peak sometime in May.
