A North Huntingdon man who failed to show up for a hearing was found by sheriff’s deputies hiding in a closet.
The Tribune-Review reports that 33-year-old Brad Readel was supposed to face charges of making terroristic threats in connection with an incident in February. Deputies reported that they received a tip on October 26th that Readel was staying at an apartment on Garret Lane. After not receiving any reply to their door knock, a maintenance man let the deputies in and found the man trying to hide among the hanging clothes in the closet. Deputies also found marijuana, empty heroin stamp bags, syringes, a digital scale and and two empty firearm magazines in the apartment.
Readel is awaiting his arraignment on charges of flight to avoid apprehension, possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
